REA 0002 College Preparatory Reading - A Short Course

College Preparatory Reading is designed for a student with reading skills approaching an acceptable level for college work. In this program a complete review of the basic reading skills is presented along with opportunities to develop them in a format similar to that used for online placement tests.

This course will explain and illustrate the basic skills that need to be known by a college-level reader. After the instruction, a reading passage allows the student to determine whether the skills of the section have been learned.

After the instructional sections have been studied, a final exam is provided to give the student feedback on the degree to which the basic reading skills have been applied.
